Since founding the Sisemore Law Firm in 2007, Fort Worth family law attorney Justin Sisemore has cultivated a dynamic, well-rounded and compassionate team of paralegals, legal assistants and support staff. Clients of the firm benefit from the team’s diverse experience and in-depth knowledge in the many complex areas of family law, along with their innate desire to comfort, support and fight for our clients every step of the way. The lines of communication are always open at the firm, and clients can expect the timely responses they deserve from the Sisemore Law Firm’s attorneys, paralegals and support staff.
Carrie Seiler joined the Sisemore Law Firm in 2016. As office manager, she oversees the daily operations of the firm. Due to her calming demeanor, attention to detail and sincere compassion, Carrie is truly beloved by the firm’s clients who rely on her as a go-to resource as they work through difficult family law issues. During her career, Carrie has worked in a variety of professional roles, including file clerk, legal assistant and office manager. She chose to work in the field of family law due to the “satisfaction I get from helping clients through one of the toughest seasons of their lives.”
When she isn’t busy juggling the many complexities involved with managing a family law firm, Carrie enjoys spending time catching up with family and friends. Family Fun Fridays and dinner gatherings occur regularly at the Seiler family’s home.
Stephanie Vasquez joined the Sisemore Law Firm in 2022, after working for several years as the office manager of another legal firm. Stephanie enjoys working in family law because it gives her the opportunity to help make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. She is the first point of contact for clients at the firm, answering questions and guiding them through the intake process and beyond. Stephanie also supports the firm’s office manager and handles incoming phone calls from clients, the courts, opposing counsel and others.
Prior to entering the legal field, Stephanie enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom, raising four beautiful children with her husband who serves in the United States Air Force. As parents of active children involved in sports and the fine arts, Stephanie and her husband spend much of their time at sporting events. In addition, the Vasquez family frequently volunteers for special events at their local military base.
A paralegal with the Sisemore Law Firm since 2014, Renee Betliskey has worked in the field of family law since 2004. As a person who felt lost when she divorced after a 15-year marriage, Renee never wants her clients to find they do not know what is going to happen next or feel lost in the process. When asked what she finds most rewarding about her paralegal work at the firm, Renee says, “Anytime we help a person come out of a 25+-year marriage knowing they will be okay financially and emotionally.”
When she isn’t working, Renee loves spending time with family, including her three sons and five grandchildren. She’s also a big fan of football and baseball.
A paralegal since the age of 19, Tiffani Bearden earned her paralegal certificate in 2003. During her paralegal career, Tiffani has worked in general law, civil law and criminal law but she eventually gravitated toward family law, an area in which she both enjoys and excels. Tiffani joined the Sisemore Law Firm in 2016, where she is proud to support the attorneys who “fight for our clients at all times.” She loves helping clients with adoptions and she has a soft spot for grandparent actions, as her grandmother played a big role in her life.
Tiffani enjoys family time, including date nights with her husband, watching her son compete on the swim team, and playing with her daughter. Tiffani is also a big fan of Audible books, watching TV shows, and Marvel and DC Comic movies with her family.
Brianna Cunningham has always been passionate about working with people. After 15 years in hospitality management, Brianna transitioned those people skills into the professional work she performs today as a paralegal for the Sisemore Law Firm. Helping clients navigate one of the most vulnerable times in their lives and the difficult process of divorce and child custody negotiations is something Brianna finds very rewarding.
A paralegal since 2004, Cyndi Abbate joined the Sisemore Law Firm in 2019. Prior to her paralegal career, Cyndi worked several years in law enforcement and spent quite a bit of time in the courts. When she was looking to make a career change, transitioning to paralegal work seemed like a great fit. Cyndi finds her paralegal career the most rewarding when she can help clients find their voice and move on from a controlling or abusive situation.
While she’s lived in Texas for 20 years, Cyndi misses living on the east coast but she loves spending time in Texas with her husband of 21 years, son and four grandchildren. Cyndi considers herself a homebody and movie buff, and says she “kills it at trivia games and loves to read.”
